Copthorne Central, Christchurch

Due to the 22 February 2011 Christchurch earthquake, the Copthorne Central Hotel remains within the city cordon and is still not able to be accessed freely. As a result, no future reservations can be accepted at the hotel for the remainder of 2011 and the whole of 2012.
Copthorne Central Hotel - Reopened August 2002 following a NZ$ 5M upgrade to all guestrooms including installation of air-conditioning. The hotel overlooks the beautiful Victoria Square and the tranquil River Avon and is only two minutes walk from the city centre. Often described as a little slice of England in the South Pacific, Christchurch is a gracious city of tree filled parks, elegant squares and beautiful stone buildings.
