Fox Glacier Guiding

Enjoy a breathtaking guided walk onto the world famous Fox Glacier with New Zealand's most experienced glacier guiding company. Fox Glacier is New Zealand's largest commercially guided glacier, situated in Glacier Country, on the West Coast of the South Island, only 21 km's south of Franz Josef. A full range of hiking tours and ice adventures are available to suit all fitness levels.

Location
All trips depart from the base on the Main Road of Fox Glacier (State Highway 6). From the building it is about a 10 minute drive to the Glacier Access Road carpark where walks commence.

Getting There
Fox Glacier township is a small country township located on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. It is approximately
6 hours drive west of Christchurch
5 hours drive north of Queenstown
3.5 hours drive north of Wanaka
2.5 hours drive south of Greymouth.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received within 7 days of scheduled departure. If not received within 7 days a 100% charge may still be applied.
It is important to understand that trips may vary from the descriptions given and may have to be cancelled from time to time due to natural events. Glacier walking is an all weather activity. Except in the event of extreme weather or adverse environmental conditions, walking trips invariably take place. The exception to this is the Heli-Hike and other trips which rely on helicopter flights. These trips are more often affected by the weather and subject to cancellation if flying conditions are not good on the day.
