Fox and Franz Josef Heliservices are based in both Fox and Franz Josef. Our modern fleet of turbine helicopters can whisk you away for a magical alpine experience encompassing these two world famous glaciers. Sweep over the lush sub-tropical forests of the Westland National Park as we climb to 6000' before landing on the snow. Mountain enthusiasts will also enjoy our scenic flights incorporating Mount Cook and Mount Tasman.
Location
Franz Josef Flight Office is easily located in the Alpine Adventure Centre on the Main Road, Franz Josef. The helipad is only 2 minutes away from the flight office.
Fox Glacier Flight Office is located in the Alpine Guides Building on the Main Road, Fox Glacier. Free courtesy transfer is provided to the helipad that is approximately 1km from the flight office.

*12 years and under pay 50% of adult rate. Children 3 years and under free of charge
*Essential Wear for Snow Landings: Sunglasses, Covered shoes (sneakers or trainers are fine) or your hiking boots, Camera, Wear comfortable outdoor clothing suitable for wearing on the snow. Occasionally the temperate can be 5-10 degrees cooler on the snow than it is in the village. Check with the ground-crew if you are unsure of what to wear

Getting There
Please check in 15 - 20 minutes before your scheduled departure time. This allows time for payment processing and aircraft allocation. If you are part of a large group (10 people or more), then you will need to check in 25 minutes prior to departure.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your reservation up to 12 hours before departure and avoid any cancellation fees. Less than 2 hours notice and you will forfeit 10% of your total fare, less than 30 minutes notice and you will forfeit 50% of your total fare and should you fail to check in by departure time the full amount of your fare will be charged to your credit card details supplied. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation should the weather be unsuitable on the day and we will endeavor to only postpone to a later time should we feel a later weather clearance is imminent. When the weather is exceptionally unpleasant flights will be cancelled for the day and a following day departure time may be offered. If you are unable to stay overnight to the following morning we will cancel your booking and no amount will be processed against your credit card details supplied.
