Rydges Hotel Christchurch

Rydges Christchurch continues to be inaccessible due to the civil defense cordon.
Rydges Christchurch is located on the perimeter of the ‘red zone’, and as such an access date is still unknown.
At this stage it is not envisaged the hotel will re-open until mid 2012.

Rydges Christchurch is perfectly situated in the heart of the city and adjacent to the picturesque Avon River. This iconic property offers panoramic views of teh Southern Alps or Christchurch's famous Cathedral Square. The only hotel located within Christchurch's cultural and culinary preceinct, and within easy walking distance to the convention centre and local attractions.

Location
Rydges Christchurch is located on Christchurch's culinary precinct and is within easy walking distance of the brand new Christchurch Art Gallery, as well as the Christchurch Convention Centre, Casino, city shopping mall, botanical gardens and the Art's Centre. The hotel is only a short drive to Jade Stadium, Riccarton Racecourse, Addington Raceway and the Westpac Centre.

Getting There
From the Christchurch International and Domestic Airport it is approximately 10km's into the city. From the Airport you take Memorial Avenue which flows into Fendalton Road, then left into Harper Avenue, right into Rolleston Terrace, left into Gloucester Street and right into Oxford Terrace.

Reservations are accepted in good faith. Cancellations must be received at least 7 days in advance of arrival or else a penalty of the first night's accommodation charge may apply.
