Getting There
Flying into Queenstown is an experience all in itself; once you have flown alongside the Southern Alps you will get a preview of the beautiful scenery of the Southern Lakes area - from the snow capped mountains to the glistening lakes. Flight time from Christchurch, the South Island's gateway, is about 45 minutes by jet. Direct flights are also available from Wellington and Auckland.
