Solitaire Lodge is situated on a private, secluded peninsular on the shores of the beautiful Lake Tarawera, Rotorua. Its elevated position provides breathtaking views across the lake to the grandeur of Mount Tarawera.
The Lodge is designed to take advantage of the natural views of the calm still waters of the Lagoon and the contrasting panorama over the lake to Mount Tarawera.

Cancellation Policy
Reservations are accepted in good faith and as the Lodge is situated amid the tranquil hills surrounding Lake Tarawera, cancellations may not be easy to replace. Solitaire Lodge therefore apply the following cancellation penalties:
Within 30 days of arrival date ? 25% of all room nights booked will be charged
Within 7 days of arrival date ? 100% of all room nights booked will be charged
Except the period, 12th of December to the 12th of January when the following penalty applies:
Within 90 days of arrival date ? 25% of all rooms booked will be charged
Within 60 days of arrival date ? 50% of all rooms booked will be charged
Within 30 days of arrival date ? 100% of all rooms booked will be charged
As is standard policy in NZ for small luxury accommodation properties, a deposit of 25% of the total tariff for your stay is required to confirm a reservation, subject to the cancellation policy.
