Whale Watching

Kaikoura, Marlborough is famous for its whale watching. A spectacular marine playground exists off the coast of Kaikoura and living in this environment is the mighty Sperm Whale. You may view the whales by boat, helicopter or small plane. By boat, plane or helicopter this is a unique opportunity to see these massive creatures, often just a short distance offshore from the Kaikoura township.
