Location
Glenorchy is a small township at the northern head of Lake Wakatipu, some 44 kilometers from Queenstown Paradise lies a few kilometers further up the road. Blanket Bay is situated less than 2 kilometers from Glenorchy.

Business Facilities
The Board Room, which will seat twelve in soft leather chairs, has expansive views over the lake whilst the twenty four seat Internal Conference Room is fully equipped with the latest audiovisual equipment. Both rooms have large log burning fireplaces.
Children & Extra Guests
*Our guests come to relax in the peace and serenity that Blanket Bay affords. We therefore regret that we cannot accommodate children under the age of thirteen years. An exception to this condition is made when one group books the exclusive use of the resort. All rates are exlusive of GST 12.5%
Getting There
The drive to Blanket Bay is magnificent. Only 35 minutes from Queenstown, or 50 minutes from the aiport, the newly sealed road offers breathtaking views of hanging valleys, towering mountains, and Lake Wakatipu.

Cancellation Policy
*Deposit and Cancellation Policy: Blanket Bay is a small exclusive resort and cancellations affect them greatly. A current credit card number with expiry date is required to confirm a reservation. If the reservation is cancelled fewer than thirty days before your visit, a charge of one night’s tariff will be made. Due to the remote location a last-minute cancellation gives little chance of filling the space. Should we receive less than seven days notice of a cancellation we will charge for every room night booked. Naturally we will endeavour to re-book the space and if successful a refund will be made. A 60 days cancellation period applies over Christmas and New Years. In any event we strongly advise guests to take out travel insurance to protect themselves against unexpected changes to their travel plans. Blanket Bay is available for private family or corporate gatherings. Please inquire.
The lakeside Lodge Rooms each feature their own balcony or terrace, super-kingsize bed, sitting area and armoire. The ensuite bathrooms are lavishly appointed with granite topped double vanities, separate shower and bathtub. Rate is based on 2 persons and is exclusive of GST (12.5)(Single Occupancy rates are available -please enquire for these rates at time of booking) and includes breakfast, pre-dinner cocktails and dinner, as well as carte blanche use of sports equipment and facilities.

The Chalets - Staterooms
Each Chalet Suite can be combined with an additional spacious living room to create the 1400sq ft. Stateroom. The Staterooms contain a Chalet Suite connecting with a living room each with their own stone fireplace, lake deck, and private courtyards. For two couples travelling together an ideal accommodation combination would be to reserve the Chalet Stateroom and the second adjoining Chalet Suite.
