Tongariro Lodge is situated in park-like grounds on the banks of the Tongariro River adjacent to the southern shores of Lake Taupo. The year-round outdoor playground of Tongariro National Park is only a short distance away. Established in 1982, the Lodge has an excellent reputation for gourmet dining, the finest accommodation, quality outdoor activities; and the very best in trout fishing guides (please enquire at time of booking for current prices). Children 15 years and under are 50% of the share / twin rate and under 4 years are F.O.C if utilising the same room.
Getting There
Travelling times by car (approximate): Auckland 4 hours, Wellington 4.5 hours, Hamilton 2 hours and Rotorua 1.5 hours. Land and Helicopter transfers can be arranged. Please enquire for prices.

Cancellation Policy
If a reservation is cancelled within 90 days prior to arrival a 25% cancellation fee applies. For reservations cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival a 100% cancellation fee applies. Travel insurance is recommended for all bookings.
Guest accommodation is separate from the main Lodge. This ensures maximum privacy. Each chalet has private facilities and its own secluded sunny terrace with views of the Tongariro River, Lake Taupo, or the mountains. Tariff includes: cooked English breakfast and four course dinner. Rate is based on per person per night - 2 person occupancy.
